Network Work Programme
April 2013: North Trent Network of Cardiac Care is now part of Yorkshire and the Humber Cardiovascular Strategic Clinical Network.
Development of a work programme will be across a wider regional remit with consideration for local needs and priorities.
2012 Work Programme
The Cardiac Network Board reviewed the Work Programme for 2010/11 and, at a meeting in February 2011 it was agreed that the 2010/11 priorities need to continue to be the focus of Network attention for 2011/12 with some minor amendments. The Board therefore agreed to roll forward the updated Work Programme to 2011/12 and to undertake a risk assessment by locality so as to identify the three key priority areas for Network development in 2011/12.
Each health community reviewed each element of the 2010/11 Work Programme and provided a summary of the risks which might impact on delivery of the Work Programme by March 2012. In addition it was agreed that each health community would, having assessed the risks, identify their top three priorities within the Work Programme for 2011/12. The Network User Group and Clinical Advisory Group also provided their recommendations as to their top three priorities.
Based on the responses, the three priority work areas for 2011/2012 were agreed as follows:
1. Primary Prevention
2. Arrhythmia
3. Heart Failure
